1. Purchase Order

This document comes from you, the foreign end user, requesting certain firearms be shipped to you. This document must be in English, typed or legibly hand-written. I will send you a copy of this form that I have created when I send you a copy of the contract. You can either mail or fax this document which needs to include the following information:

a) Name, address, phone & FAX of foreign end-user

b) Name, address, phone & FAX of foreign consignees if needed

c) USA Source or seller’s Name, address, (optional) phone & FAX

d) Name, address, phone & FAX of USA FFL dealer, if different than end-user

e) Make, model, caliber, serial number, type (i.e. rifle) and US dollar value for each item.

f) End use of firearms, e.g., collection, resale, sport shooting, etc.

g) If the country being exported to does NOT require an import permit (such as Germany), you need to make a statement on the purchase order certifying an import permit is not required for the items, and sign the statement.

2. Import Authorization

This document is either an original permit or certificate issued by the foreign government, authorizing the import of the items specified on the purchase order. This form usually contains an official signature, government seal and validity period or expiration date. Firearms dealer license, business license or authorization to own or carry firearms are not sufficient. Your local laws should be checked to determine what your government requires. If your governmnet requires this authorization we will need either an original copy of the document if possible or a certified copy will be accepted. Faxed copies are not acceptable at this time, so we must receive the original or certified copy by mail. Mail to: Kathleen M. Bystrek, Crying Eagle Imports, 283 Route 202, Barrington, NH 03825 USA. If the permit is not in English, we must also have a translation forwarded to us. The translation can be e-mailed to us at kmbart0250@metrocast.net. Not having this translation will cause your application to be rejected.

3. Statement by Ultimate Consignee and Purchaser

    (Form BIS-711)

This document is required by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) if you are importing sporting shotguns or firearms that are not controlled by the U.S. Department of State, Department of Trade Controls (DDTC). It must be filed with the application for the export license. Not having this document will cause your application to be “Returned Without Action” (RWA).

4. Non-transfer and Use Certificate (DSP-83)

This document is required by the U.S. Department of State and must be filed with the export application. This form states that firearms received on this document will not be re-exported, resold or otherwise disposed of outside of the country named as the “Country of Ultimate Destination.” Not having this document may cause your application to be RWA.

Once these documents are forwarded to us we will apply for your license. Approvals may take from 4-8 weeks or longer to get back from the US Department of State. As always, the more concise and thorough the supporting documentation is will help streamline the whole process.

We cannot guarantee approval for every firearm you want exported. Some guns cannot be exported and some guns other countries will not allow to be imported. The US Department of State is continually changing the “friendly” countries where we are allowed to ship guns and that alone can affect approval. We will ship the firearms after the export license has been received.

Prices subject to change without notice.
