in beautiful tax-free Barrington, NH!

Indian Village Firearms was formed over 20 years ago simply because owner, Joe Bystrek, wanted to offer his friends an outlet to purchase firearms at reasonable, if not downright cheap, prices. Currently we are located in our home in rural southeastern New Hampshire. Since we are located in our home, things are pretty casual. We only have one phone line, so you probably won't hear "Indian Village, may I help you?" if you need to call us. You'll also hear lots of dogs barking in the background. They would be Brittanies Sadie, Murphy, Cody and Lab, Seamus commonly known as Big Bubba. Guinness the cat (and called "Little Bubba" since he's all black like Seamus and they tend to stick together) is relatively quiet except at feeding time or when he wants to go outside.

Living in New Hampshire offers opportunities to enjoy many sports and fishing is right near the top of Joe's list being an avid fly fisherman. We went to Ireland in 2004 and 2005 to do a bit of "angling". It appears that this trip will be an annual one for the foreseeable future! (Update: Joe went with brother, Richie in 2006 and we just returned a short time ago for his 2007 trip).  Joe decided to add some fishing gear this past fall for those of you who enjoy a bit of fly fishing also.

On a personal note, it is the firearms community policing itself that will keep the sport and ownership of guns safe for all of us. Please, if you have young children in your home, make sure you keep all firearms out of their reach. Teach proper handling and storage of all firearms, ammunition and accessories to everybody in your home or who might have access. Let's keep it safe out there!
